Hey cool cats and kiddies.

I haven't written in a while! Let's see.. I just got back from vacation in West Virginia with my family (aka the Dirty Dancing place where my parents met). It was perfect. That's all I can say. It made it impossible to come back to work, but it was perfect.

Does anyone know anything about NaNoWriMo? I've heard stuff about it, but never really done it. Anyway there's apparently a more lax one you can do in August (AugNoWriMo.. sounds like a weird disease), and I need some inspiration so I think I'm gonna do it.. There have been a few ideas bouncing around in this old noggin, and I've never written a book, so who knows what'll happen. Plus I like the idea of "total literary abandon." Maybe that'll be a good change from the rigor of crazy fiction workshops.

Infinite Jest status: 450 out of 1079. I'm tryinggg to keep up with the syllabus on InfiniteSummer.org, but that can be tough.. like when one has no time to read, and is peering into the abyss of a 14 page footnote (with its own endnotes). But I've grown fond of those nutty Incandenzas so I'll keep on rocking.
